Many people are very self-conscious about their rolling acne scars or other tethered scars. The skin indentations that they sometimes produce can be very noticeable. Thankfully, there is a simple way to raise the skin and minimize the appearance of these scar tissues.
The method in question is a simple hand-operated suction pump specially designed for scar treatment. Some pumps come with suction cups in different sizes. The pump is sometimes referred to as a subcision-suction pump. This pump is capable of producing 800 mbar of pressure. The pressure is significant enough to elevate the indented skin and reduce the jagged appearance of the scars.
When the suction pump is used in combination with derma stamping (also called micro needling, subcision, derma needling, or rolling); the results can really be remarkable. A derma stamp is a special roller with titanium or surgical steel needles strategically arranged in rows all around the circumference of the roller. The needles are usually about 0.25 mm or 0.5 mm. The needles penetrate the skin without any bleeding and cause the body to immediately start repairing. This in turn results in healthier looking skin and so many other benefits.
Utilizing the acne suction pump will not produce lasting results after one use. However, noticeable results can be seen by many people after the initial use. Nonetheless, regular use of the pump is what is required in order for the skin to fully rejuvenate thus filling in those depressed areas due to scarring.
